In the days of the Internet, we’re all too often forced to do things that we don’t want to do. The key to preventing that from happening is to break the chains that have bound us to our habits. If you can stop yourself from doing something that you don’t want to do, you will be less likely to do that again.

I’ve been in that “thousand-hour rule” myself, and I know that if I spend more than I want to I will develop a life-long dependence on alcohol and drugs. But I can break that habit without that same destructive effect. And you can too. If you don’t want to drink or smoke, you can stop.

We all have things that we do on a regular basis that we dont think about but something that we do repeatedly triggers a habit. The point is that we all have habits that need to be broken.

If you are addicted to something (and you have a habit that makes you prone to addiction), the first step is to realize you are an addict. Once you realize that, you can change your habits and your habits will change. For instance, if you are addicted to chocolate, you should start by telling yourself, “I will not eat chocolate for six months, and I will stop at that point.” This will break your chocolate habit and you will realize that you can stop it.

For some people it’s difficult to break an addiction to something. They may start with a small change that makes their life better, but once they’ve gotten used to the new behavior, it gets harder and harder to break the habit. I have been an avid internet addict for about seven years. I have a habit of checking my internet every minute or so and I’ve been able to break this habit because I used to do that every minute.

I don’t know if this is an actual addiction, but I would like to point out that I was an addict before I found a way to stop. I was an addict for a long time before I found my way to stop doing this (I would get into very intense, unhealthy and dangerous situations in order to get my fix of online porn).
