I’m not a fan of haitian soda. I mean the ingredients are quite good, but it’s not a great choice. The name of this recipe is haitian soda (aka “hah”), but it’s a bit of a fad and I like it a lot. For me it’s one of my favorite things to make. I don’t have any real idea what the term means.
To me this is a refreshing and tasty way to kick off a good day. The ingredients are simple and very well thought out. There’s also a little hint or two of what to expect from a soda you’ve tried before in the ingredients list. The flavor profile is very clear, but it could be a bit heavy. This is only a single sip and if you don’t like soda, you likely won’t like it.
When I have a good time with a soda, I like to think about what I’m getting into. I like to think about the ingredients so I can make the choice. Its a great drink and I would definately drink a drink with it. I also think about the flavors. I would definately drink a soda with each sip.
Like most sodas, haitian soda has a very sweet taste. Its kind of like the sweetness of a fruit soda. The sweetness is complemented by the tartness of the ingredients. The drink is very light and refreshing.
If I want to add a couple more ingredients, I can add some extra soda to the mix.
